FASHION DESIGNER INDASHIO BRINGS HIS INNER PARTY MONSTER TO THE CARIBBEAN UNVEILING HIS NEWEST S/S 2011 “KLUB KID” COLLECTION AT CAYMAN FASHION SOLSTICE HOSTED BY SUPERMODEL SELITA EBANKS & ISLANDS OF THE WORLD FASHION WEEK IN BAHAMAS
(New York, NY) November 2010 – Following an impressive runway debut during ELLE Magazine’s Style 360 during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week S/S 2011, fashion designer and celebrity stylist INDASHIO made a huge splash in the Caribbean with two back to back exclusive showings of his S/S 2011 RTW “Klub Kid” Collection in Grand Cayman Island and Nassau, Bahamas.
The designer’s first stop was the Cayman Island Fashion Solstice which took place November 4th-7th The show hosted by Victoria Secrets Supermodel and Cayman Island native Selita Ebanks. The event included international fashion designers, models and media for a weekend of high fashion at The Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman Resort. The event was held over four exhilarating days which was an invitation-only soiree. Indashio’s collection brought fashion alive in the Cayman Islands by turning the eyes of the fashion world on to the islands. The show closed with Selita Banks strutting down the catwalk to standing ovation of a cheering crowd as Indashio closed the show “Whipping His Hair” back and forth down the runway.
“It is always such an honor and so much fun to be invited to participate in such worldly events and have the opportunity to showcase my latest S/S 2011 “Klub Kid” Collection in the beautiful and luxurious Cayman Islands” says INDASHIO. The collection, featured the designers signature cocktail dresses, in chiffons and silk jersey fabrication; sportswear and swimwear for men in bold neon hues including yellows, pinks, blues, and oranges making his show the most unforgettable during Fashion Solstice .
The designer then immediately flew to Nassau, Bahamas on November 10th-13th for Islands Fashion Week where he unveiled his S/S 2011 RTW “Klub Kid” Collection. Project Runway winner & fashion designer Jay McCaroll also appeared to promote his film “11 Minutes” INDASHIO continues to tour the world showing his collection which will be available for pre-orders on www.indashio.com just in time for the holiday season.
