
Designer Previewed his “5 Years in Fashion” Collection at the Samsung Experience
New York, NY – Feb 24, 2009 – On Friday, February 20, 2009, New York-based celebrity darling and fashion designer INDASHIO hosted a night of illusional fashions from his fall 2009 show “5 Years in Fashion” at the Samsung Experience in the Time Warner Center — and made history. A seemingly short parade of fantasy-fashions models took the runway with INDASHIO’s sexy designs – all hand painted by Mehron Team.
Inspired by themes he developed through the years, each model represented a vision from one of his previous shows—Paper Dolls, Las Vegas, Edward Scissorhands, Rags to Riches and Candy. Led by Jinny, an exclusive Mehron artist, co-creator of Mehron’s Paradise body paint products and world renowned bodypainting master artist who will serve as key makeup artist alongside Chicago’s hottest airbrush artist Mario Ink, each model was transformed the models into the inspiration and illusion of Indashio’s work and masterpiece creations using Mehron’s famous Paradise bodypaint and LUX Airbrush products.
More than 300 celebrities and VIP’s jam-packed the hi-tech Samsung Experience, which provided the perfect backdrop for the star-studded audience. Celebrities such as Richie Rich, Terri Steven, designer on BRAVO’S Project Runway; Samantha Cole, Alexander Allen, Tony Williams, Stacey McKenzie, Egypt radio personality, owner of famed MEHRON Martin Melik and Shoe designers SHANE & SHAWN WARD, sat front row to support the notorious designer.
INDASHIO, who dressed the part with a head full of Mehron Make-Up by artists Mario Ink, chose the Samsung Experience as the backdrop for the debut of his collection due to its innovative look and feel. “The Samsung Experience is a hot spot! Samsungs’s products are as hot as they are influential,” said the 25-year old fashion designer, stylist and entrepreneur.
